US Veteran's New Life Includes iSpeedway
As a disabled veteran my service connected injuries have had a
profound effect on me and my life. This has led me to become unable
to find a job, or to live a normal life.
One morning while I was taking my medication for pain in my cervical spine I looked in the mirror and said to myself "I can't live like this anymore". I mean, I was getting fat and had no energy and really was unhappy. I wanted a change and I wanted it right then.
So, I called my girlfriend Nancy and I asked her what she thought about us going to see a personal trainer together. Nancy was all for it, so I got on the World Wide Web and found a trainer for us both.
We found a great trainer for us in Denver at a great price. As we both started to workout we began to feel better with each workout. It was as if my body just needed to get into some sort of shape and this took quite a bit of pain away but I still need some medications to cope with the rest of the pain. Even Nancy started to see some difference in her weight and appearance. Put it to you this way, ever since we started to work out together our lives have changed for the better.
At about five months into working out I thought to myself, "If I only had my own internet store where I could sell supplements and work-out gear". What a way to make money I thought but I had no idea how to start such a business. About a week after this thought, I was listening to ITunes radio on my laptop and I heard this commercial about iSpeedway. I only caught the last part where the lady said "this business virtually runs itself". I quickly wrote down the number and called iSpeedway to learn more about this business.
Within a few minutes of chatting with Lisa at iSpeedway I knew that I could make this business work for us. So I went ahead and became a Gold store member. I remember just after I did it I thought "what am I going to tell Nancy?" "She might kill me." LOL as it turns out I made the right choice with iSpeedway.
Within the first month I had two customers I thought, "Wow not bad for just starting". I am now excited to see what the next month will hold for us, I think that we will be fine.
The people who know me always ask me why I started this business. I always give them some answer like "I am just trying to survive". But the truth is I am unable to work and unable to maintain a job due to my service connected disabilities. The VA compensates me only so much and Social Security believes that I am too young to receive benefits. Now that I am through serving my country I just want to put the pieces of my life back together and really find a way to retire. That's really all I want now is to finish my schooling and retire. I want to enjoy the finer things in life with Nancy.
Someday when I have enough money to support us, marry her and just live a happy life the way we want it to be.
